The 914 is an mid-engined, air cooled, targa-topped roadster that was simple and old school in execution when it came out.

The i8 is an electro mumbo-jumbo professed as the future.

I don’t see any similarities. :S

I thought hydrogen had all but been cast aside since the federal and local government (at least in the USA) don’t seem to want to subsidize it. Honda was about the only manufacturer that really pushed for it from what I remember. I know Toyota at least piddled with it for a while.
